Congraulations to the six Bedford and County Athletes who competed at the English Schools Championships at the weekend: Stephen Simmons, Etienne Maughan, Gracie Wall, Sadie Werrett, Jasmine Wilkins and Daniel Forbes-Harding.

It was an exciting weekend.  Full results for the NAL and EYAL matches are not yet available, but here are some notable highlights:

Congratulations to Ewan Wilson and Oliver Wilson, who both won golds at the Fen Gallop on Sunday 4th July.

Congratulations to Stephen Simmons, whose performance at the East Anglian Regional Finals held at Corby over 26th and 27th June qualified him for the English Schools Decathlon Finals  at Bedford in September.  

Congratulations to Alex Alston and Etienne Maughan, who both broke club records this weekend.  Alex also finished first in the 3000m Steeplechase at the England Athletics Under 20 Championships.

Members of the wheelchair racing squad competed at Coventry last Saturday and then at Sandy during the week and all achieved PBs in their events.  The results were as follows:
