Two Bedford & County masters athletes, Andrew Leach M55 & Simon Coombes M50, represented England at the British and Irish Open International Cross Country Event held on Saturday 12 November in Dublin. Both athletes were members of their respective gold medal winning teams.
The second round of this season's Chiltern League took place at Teardrop Lakes, Milton Keynes on Saturday 12 November. There were Division 1 wins for Ben Alcock in the Senior Men's race, Rebecca Murray in the Senior Women's race, and Harry Scott in the Under 15 Boys race, and second places for Harry Brodie (Senior Men), and Oliver Wilson (Under 15 boys).
The Senior Men's team finished 3rd, as did the Veteran Men's team. The Under 15 Boys' team won their match and also have the overall lead after 2 matches, and the Senior Women's team also won their match.

The first round of this season's Chiltern League took place at Shotover Hill, Oxford on Saturday 15th October. There was a win for Harry Brodie in the Senior Men's race, with Ben Davies third. Lyla Danobrega finished 3rd in the Under 17 women's race, Imogen Tregenza finished 2nd in the Under 20 Women's race, and Harry Scott finished 3rd in the Under 15 Boy's race.
The Senior Men's team finished 3rd, as did the Veteran Men's team. The Under 15 Boys' team finished second, and the Under 15 Girls' team finished 3rd.

Results from the National Cross Country Relays at Mansfield on Saturday 6th December:
Well done to Jessica Frost, who claimed the bronze medal in the Under 17 Women's event at the Eastern Athletic Association Combined Events Championships in Peterborough on 25th September with a total of 2731 points.
There were some fantastic performances at the Aldershot Road Relays on Saturday 24th September, with the Senior Men's A Team finishing 4th, the M50 team finishing 5th and the Under 13 Boys team finishing 4th.

Congratulations to Gracie Wall and Milly Dunger who won the Under 17 High Jump and 1500m titles respectively at the South of England Championships in Chelmsford on 13th and 14th August.

There were some excellent results at the Doug Anderson 5k in Bedford Park on Wednesday 20th July, which also incorporated the Bedfordshire 5k Championship.
Craig Emmerson won the race with a new PB of 15:39, Alan Turnbull was the first M55 home in a speedy 17:07, and we also won the Men's team competition with Craig, Alan and Henry Bambrick (17:08) as the scorers.
Ellie Harper won the junior female race in 21:27 and title and Simon Harper was 2nd M45 in 19:28.
Alan's 17:07 is also a new M55 club road best for 5k - congratulations Alan!
