In addition to the success of the pole vaulters at last weekends’ Eastern Counties Indoor Championships at Lee Valley the club came away with a further 7 Medals.

Congratulations to all the Bedford & County athletes who ran in the Tokyo Marathon yesterday.
Adam Harris, achieved the 6 star Abbot World Marathon Majors award yesterday, by completing the Tokyo Marathon in a chip time of 2hrs 56mins 46sec (gun time 2hrs 57mins 11sec). He has achieved the 6 Star award by running the required marathons in: Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago and New York.
Yesterday, the final Chiltern League cross country of the season took place at Oxford. Bedford and County finished the season off in style on a very muddy course to win the overall competition, taking home the title for the first time in 7 years.
We also won the team title for Senior Women and U17 Men, a title Bedford and County's Senior Women haven't won for 11 years.
An early season opportunity to have a run out at this Open Meet Track event at Stevenage on Sunday 30th March.
The U17 Men came away with the silver medal at today's SEAA Cross Country Championships in Beckenham. The U15 boys came 19th.
