The club sent 10 teams to the English Cross Country Relay Results that took place at Mansfield on Saturday 6th November. There were two top ten finishes.
Senior Men (4 x 5k)
Perhaps most impressively, The Senior Men managed to get three teams in the top 50. The Senior Men's A team finished a strong seventh. Jack Goodwin led off with the first 5k leg in 15:36.20, Matt Bergin ran the second leg in 16:02.80 (the ninth fastest second leg of the day), Ben Alcock ran the third leg in 16:11.10 (he was the seventh fastest on his leg), and Ben Davies completed the last leg in 16:22.35. The Senior Men's B team underlined the club's strength with a 27th place finish - which put them ahead of many clubs' A teams. For the B team, Matt Bray ran 16:13.60, James Minter ran 16:32.35, Jamie Seddon ran 16:57.50, and J Richardson ran 17:10.80. The C team of Johnny Eves (16:33.55), Alfred Tabsely (17:12.30), Craig Emmerson (17:44.15) and Joe Strange (18:12.50) finished in 45th position.
Under 20 Men (3 x 3k)
The Under 20 Men's A team came 12th. With Harry Brodie leading off the first 3k leg in 9:03.55, Ed Blythman on second leg in 9:47.45, and Alex Alston taking the final leg in 9:11.85, which was the ninth fastest last leg of the day. The B team finished 33rd: Jamie Webster ran the first leg in 9:22.35, Harry West ran the second leg in 10:14.00, and James Vinnicombe took the last leg in 9:48.45.
Under 17 Men (3 x 3k)
The team of Euan Supple (9:50.70), Ethan Cairns (10:38.90) and J Taylor (11:11.95) finished 47th.
Under 15 Boys (3 x 2k)
The team of Cameron Barnes (6:43.90), Austin Cole (7:30.30) and Daniel Smith (7:00.75) finished 29th. Cameron ran the ninth fastest first leg.
Under 13 Boys (3 x 2k)
The team of H Scott (7:19.40), Isaac Raddan (7:55.40) and Zach Danobrega (8:45.30) finished 32nd.
Senior Women (3 x 3k)
The Senior Women's team of of Lauren Nichols (11:06.30), Rebecca Murray (10:08.35), and Josie Smith (11:50.25) finished 21st, with Rebecca running the third fastest second leg time.
Under 15 Girls (3 x 2 k)
The under 15 Girls team of Lily Farr, Lyla Danobrega and Milly Dunger finished a strong sixth with legs of 7:24.35, 7:55.30 and 7:28.40 respectively. Lily was the twelfth fastest first leg runner, whilst Milly ran the seventh fastest last leg.
