After two challenging fixtures in Nottingham and Leigh, our final NAL league match will take place in Bedford on Sunday, July 7th. This is expected to be the last round of league fixtures before a potential promotion playoff and separate cup match, also in Bedford (but not hosted or organized by our club) on Saturday, August 3rd. The August match would be for A-string events only, but there is some uncertainty about whether it will proceed.
Therefore, next Sunday may very well be the club's last NAL match for some time, and we are eager to finish the season strong after the disappointments of the previous two fixtures.
We will be competing against:
- Milton Keynes
- Notts AC
- Sheffield
- Liverpool
- Trafford
Please review the timetable here: https://www.nationalathleticsleague.org.uk/championship-table/
As this is a home match, please be aware that there is likely to be higher demand than usual for some events, and we cannot guarantee everyone a spot. We are limited to two athletes (A & B string) per event, except for the 100m, 200m, and 400m, where we can enter up to four non-scorers. Entries will be assigned based on recent competition form, and ideally, non-scoring athletes should be willing to run in one of the relay teams.
If you wish to compete, please contact one of the following team managers:
Mens team manager: Craig Emmerson
Women's team manager: Jemma Eastwood

We want to field the strongest team possible, so please try to make yourself available.
Please also consider supporting the club a week later on Sunday, July 14th, in the SAL at Oxford. We still have a realistic chance of winning the league title there, and the SAL offers plenty of opportunities for non-scoring competition. Emma Coombes will send out an email about this shortly.
