The club is sad to announce the death of Dave Harman, husband of Sharmila, Bedford & County Wheelchair Racing coach. 

 

He was an amazing man and a leading personality in disabled swimming, having devoted almost 30 years to the sport as a technical official and qualified referee including London 2012, Rio 2012 and Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. He was also involved in many other major swimming events for the disabled throughout the world, having visited 75 different countries during this spell. He will be sorely missed.
