Our Junior athletes made the long journey to Chelmsford to take part in the EYAL Top Six Final. We finished a very commendable 5th overall, 13 points behind 4th and 35 behind 3rd.  The other 5 teams we were up against were also in the Finals last year. The athletes produced an amazing 44 PBs (16 for the girls and 28 for the boys).

We would like to send an extra thank you to Poppy M, Florence J, Lucy T and Harvey S who all up aged for the finals.  Without you we would have lost 19 valuable points.

We would like to say thank you to all the athletes who have represented the club over the summer.  We have had some amazing performances and great competition. You should all be really proud of yourselves – we are !

Thank you also needs to go to Martyn, Steph, Jon, Graeme, Emma, Allen and Nick for their officiating duties.  To the numerous parents who helped raking, retrieving and measuring and of course to the parents who took athletes to the matches, training and for their support.

We are looking forward to next summer and we are hoping for a top 3 finish.
