Well done to Jessica Frost (U17), who competed in the U13/U15/U17 London Indoor Games at Lee Valley on 29th January. Jess won her 60m race in a new PB of 8.49 seconds, and also set PBs in the Long Jump (4.59m) and the Shot Put (8.12m). Gracie Wall won the U17 High Jump with 1.67m.
The club is always looking for volunteers, and at the moment we are particularly short of officials. If your child or grandchild will be competing in the Eastern Young Athletes League or the Youth Development League this season, or if you are able to help out with officiating at British League, Southern League, or other events, England Athletics have some officiating courses coming up: https://www.englandathletics.org/officiating/officiating-journey/officiating-journey-step-1/
The club will pay for you to attend.
